Sea Change, the first part of a trilogy for children, was published by Solidus Press in 2002, and reprinted in 2004.

Sea Change concerns the adventures of Oriana ’Belle’ Tavey, who at fourteen, runs away to sea disguised as a boy. The year is 1718, and in the harsh C18th worlds of seafaring, piracy and the slave trade, Belle painfully sheds her naivety and learns courage and resilience – and some unexpected answers to the mystery of her family.

Sea Change is written for bold readers aged ten upwards and will appeal to anyone who enjoys adventure stories.

Stop Press: Shadow Dance, the sequel to Sea Change, is now available to purchase from Amazon or Solidus Press. Sea Change has also been revised and reissued with a new cover.
